EVENT INFORMATION (FAQ)

What is the Love Ride? The Love Ride is the largest and longest running one-day motorcycle charity event in the world. As Love Ride enters its 32nd and final year in raising funds for those less fortunate, we hope to raise a substantial amount of awareness and funds for Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) adding to the 24 million raised during its rich history.

Accompanied by celebrity support, thousands of motorcycles will ride from Glendale to Castaic Lake for a blowout concert, motorcycle trade show, motorcycle stunts, custom motorcycle show, a variety of gourmet food trucks and extra opportunities to win opportunity tickets for the drawings.

When is it? October 18th, 2015

Where does it start? The event kicks off in Glendale at 7am and the ride leaves Harley-Davidson of Glendale at 9am to Castaic Lake.

How do I register? You can register now online at www.loveride.org until midnight, Friday October 16th for $45 per person. After midnight registration is $60 per person and can be done the day of the event in Glendale starting at 6am (until 10am) or you can register at Castaic, the day of the event for $60 per person, from 8am until noon.

Note: For those wishing to attend the concert only at Castaic Lake may do so at www.loveride.org.

When does it start? 7a.m. events in Glendale start with a concert and press conference from the stage with special guests, sponsors and representatives from this year’s beneficiary Wounded Warrior Project®. The ride leaves from Glendale at 9:00 am (kickstands up) to Castaic Lake.

Glendale Parking: Limited Preferred Parking (motorcycles only) can be purchased from Harley-Davidson Glendale for $10. Directions where to park are provided with purchase.

Castaic Parking: First come, first served. Cars are welcome.

Can I bring my children? Yes, but please use discretion as there will be loud noise. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult can get in for free.

Who is playing this year? The entertainment this year is FOO FIGHTERS and SOCIAL DISTORTION. The concert at Castaic Lake Park starts with American Hitmen kicking it off.  The Glendale festivities with the Long Run - Experience the Eagles, starts at 7:00 A.m.

Why do you have this ride and who is it for? We are raising money for charity and to show how motorcyclists are some of the most charitable people in the world. The beneficiary of this year’s event is Wounded Warrior Project whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. (For more info visit: www.woundedwarriorproject.org)

Is this really the last Love Ride? Why? Yes – this is the grand finale of 32 years and $24 million dollars raised for charity. The founders of the event and dedicated volunteers want to enjoy their golden years and spend more time on the road so have opted to call it a wrap.

What are the prizes this year? Opportunity prizes include a 2015 Street Glide, a trip for 2 to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and lodging at the Iron Horse. Don’t forget there is also a visit to Jay Leno’s Garage – with a personal tour from Jay Leno himself. Stock up tickets at $10 per ticket. There are more chances to win at the lake with special events and even a dunk tank!

Merchandize for sale? You can purchase a special Foo Fighters memorial t-shirt for $20 on line for pick up at the Lake. Love Ride Commemorative T-shirts for both men and women are also available online for $20 each. Visit www.loveride.org for photos.

What are the Fundraising incentives? These are available for those registered. The first few thousand to register will get a pin and patch with their ticket purchase. Add in a bandana for a few dollars more.

Break $100 and you qualify for a challenge coin and a stainless steel water bottle.

Crack $350 and you can add in a long sleeved Love Ride fleece pullover.

When you reach $650 you qualify to add an embroidered backpack to carry your incentives in.

Reach Gold level at $1000 and you can strut your stuff in the special VIP/Backstage area.  A guest of yours can enter the VIP/Backstage area for a minimum donation of $250.

Top $1500 or more Platinum level and you’ll be stylin’ with a leather vest with Love Ride 32 logo on the top left chest portion. It comes with a hidden pocket, internal zipper and snap lapel.
